deine Mutti's 2023 summer song is dedicated to Clark's desert boots, our favourite footwear.
We wanted to write a cod reggae summer hit, in the style of 'Una Coca-Cola e Una Carbonara' or 'E La Luna Bussò'. We are fully aware that this kind of white flavourless reggae is based on cultural appropriation. We acknowledge that reggae is a form of black music that originated in the Caribbean and we have a deep respect towards the culture it comes from. Our song shall be understood as homage and if anyone feels discomfort in it, do reach out. Keep your ears open and your heart full.
